Entrepreneurs make the mistake of researching their competition in the beginning stages of their business but often forget to keep an eye out throughout their entrepreneur journey. With technology ever changing and new and improved resources available, you need to make sure you are ahead of the game. Schedule a few hours out of the week to research your competition and make sure you stand out from the crowd.

What is Correlations LLC & Helena’s Planners:

My umbrella business, Correlations which stands for communication and relationships trains small business owners on essential soft skills such as marketing, public relations, public speaking and event planning.

My business actually started in my mother’s kitchen right after I graduated from college. I wanted to teach but I knew I wanted to do it on my own terms.

From Correlations, my new venture Helena’s Planners has emergedfrom a national 2 Day Event Planning Certificate Course I teach.  Students wanted more training and more resources related to event planning and they literally wanted to see me in action so I decided to launch Helena’s Planners Summer 2011.
