Do you have a son or daughter that has an entrepreneurial spirit?
Does your son/daughter always come up money making ideas?
I have the privilege of facilitating the Black Enterprise Teenpreneur Conference for the third time this year. Each year I am amazed at the talent and skills of our youth and inspired to do more for the youth in my community. Last year I had the privilege of meeting Adam and Jonathan Holland, owners of AJ’s Hawaiian Iceez. AJ’s Hawaiian Iceez is a mobile shaved ice business started to help their parents with their younger sisters private school tuition. They won the 2011 Black Enterprise Teenpreneur Award for their commitment to realizing their dreams.
The Black Enterprise Teenpreneur Conference teaches students to explore the topic of entrepreneurship and learn from successful business owners. If you have a teen that could benefit from the Black Enterprise Teenpreneur Conference then make sure you register them today. REGISTER NOW!

Where can you go and see over 800 African America women networking, learning and celebrating their accomplishments?
Where can you attend sessions on leadership and entrepreneurship from Vera Moore, Beverly Johnson and Amsale Aberra? This can only happen at the Black Enterprise Women of Power Summit.

I promise this is an event you do not want to miss next year. See you soon.
1. Being Empowered
I have been too many different conferences but I tell you being at the Black Enterprise Women of Power Conference I feel so empowered and motivated to work even harder for my mission. There is nothing like seeing so many women of color from different backgrounds in one place.

2. Leadership Sessions
The breakout sessions were GREAT. I learned from Anita Hill on her struggle to bring Sexual Harassment awareness to all, Valorie Burton that lead the session on “9 Habits that Make You Happier, Healthier & Resilient” and from my favorite Sundra Ryce of SLR Contracting in the session on Risk Takes & Rule Breakers. I have so many notes and highlights that I learned from these sessions.
